1. Overview
At Afro Food Online UK, we are committed to delivering high-quality, hygienically processed African food products. Due to the nature of our products (food items), we have specific guidelines regarding returns and refunds to ensure safety and quality for all customers.
2. Food Safety & Returns
For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on food items once they have been delivered, unless:
• The item is damaged
• The item is defective
• You received the wrong product.
3. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:
✔ Your order arrives damaged
✔ You receive the wrong item
✔ The product is not of acceptable quality upon delivery.
4. Reporting an Issue
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within:
👉 48 hours of delivery
Include the following:
• Your order number
• Clear photos of the item(s)
• Description of the issue

5. Refund Process
Once your claim is reviewed:
• If approved, a refund or replacement will be issued
• Refunds are processed to your original payment method
• Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
We cannot offer refunds if:
• You change your mind after purchase
• The product has been opened or used
• The issue is reported after 48 hours
• Incorrect delivery details were provided by the customer.
7. Delivery Issues
If your order is delayed or missing:
• Contact us and we will investigate with the courier
• If confirmed lost, we will replace or refund your order.
8. Cancellations
• Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch
• Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.
